River silt accumulation is a persistent problem in urban water environment management. It not only impacts flood control safety but also poses a potential source of pollution due to the presence of heavy metals, organic matter, and other pollutants. Zhengzhou Desen Environmental's integrated river silt treatment equipment, designed with "convenient mobility, efficient treatment, and resource recycling" as its core features, provides an all-in-one solution for river dredging.

Desen Integrated River Silt Treatment Equipment: Turning Black and Smelly Silt into a 'Renewable Resource'

The equipment features a modular, integrated design and consists of four modules: silt transportation, dewatering and drying, mud-water separation, and resource recovery. It can be quickly transported to the riverbank by truck, eliminating the need for large-scale infrastructure construction, and installation and commissioning takes only 24 hours. During operation, a cutter suction vessel transports silt to the equipment, where it undergoes vibratory screening to remove impurities such as branches and rocks. The equipment then enters a screw-type dewatering unit. Through screw extrusion and filter cloth filtration, the silt's moisture content is reduced from over 95% to below 30%, reducing its volume to one-fifth of its original volume, significantly reducing subsequent transportation and disposal costs. More crucial is the resource recovery process: after dewatering, the mud cake, if tested for heavy metal content that meets standards, can be used as landscaping soil or roadbed fill. The separated clear water is purified in a sedimentation tank and membrane filtration system, reducing the suspended solids content to below 10 mg/L. It can then be directly reused for river replenishment or equipment cleaning, achieving a water recycling rate exceeding 90%. In a black and odorous river treatment project in a Jiangsu city, this equipment processed 200 tons of sludge per day, desilting 5 kilometers of river in three months. The treated mud cake was then used to shape the surrounding park landscape, achieving a three-step improvement: sludge reduction, harmless treatment, and resource utilization.

The advantage of Desen's modular equipment lies in its integration of silt treatment and resource recycling, addressing the pollution problem of silt accumulation while providing recycled materials for urban construction. This shifts river management from a "dredging-only" approach to a long-term model of recycling and reuse.
