Stale garbage is a complex waste that has been accumulated for a long time and is highly mixed in landfills. Its management faces multiple challenges such as component adhesion, pollution diffusion and low resource utilization rate. The DS15SE mobile screening plant independently developed by Desen Environment provides a one-stop solution for the industry with "efficient screening, dynamic management, and green circulation" as the core, helping to achieve the coordinated development of stale garbage reduction, resource recycling and ecological restoration.

Desen mobile screening plant DS15SE is an engineering tool to solve the problem of stale garbage management

Stale garbage is usually composed of humus (40-60%), plastic/fabric (15-30%), masonry/metal (10-20%), etc. Due to long-term landfill, it forms a lumpy shape, which makes it difficult for traditional equipment to efficiently sort. The DS15SE mobile screen breaks through the technical bottleneck through the three-stage screening system: the pre-crushing module uses a two-way shearing tool to gently dissociate the compacted garbage and retain the complete particles of humus soil; the double-layer adjustable screen (30mm/80mm) combined with the octagonal drum design can accurately separate humus soil, light materials and heavy materials, and the separation purity reaches more than 97%; the intelligent sensing technology monitors the humidity and weight of the material in real time, and dynamically adjusts the drum speed and inclination to adapt to the climate differences between the north and the south and the changes in the maturity of garbage, ensuring that the processing efficiency is stable at 150-200 tons/hour. In view of the highly corrosive environment of the landfill (SO₄²⁻ concentration exceeds 1000mg/kg) and the risk of secondary pollution, DS15SE innovatively adopts the corrosion-resistant structure of Q345B high-strength steel + epoxy zinc-based coating, and the life of key components is extended to 15 years; the fully enclosed negative pressure cabin and pulse dust removal system control the dust concentration of the operation to below 10mg/m³, the VOCs collection rate exceeds 90%, and the sewage circulation module achieves zero discharge of screening wastewater, fully meeting the "Environmental Noise Emission Standards for Industrial Enterprises" and environmental protection supervision requirements.

Traditional fixed screening relies on centralized garbage transportation, which is costly and has a long cycle. With its multi-axle off-road chassis and modular design, DS15SE has a traction speed of 18km/h and can complete multi-point deployment within 1 hour, significantly reducing transportation energy consumption and carbon emissions by 30%. In the decentralized governance project in the Pearl River Delta, two DS15SEs were flexibly transferred within a radius of 15km, and 80,000 tons of garbage were screened at five landfills in 55 days, reducing the transportation cost by 1.8 million yuan and shortening the construction period by 40%. In the ecological restoration project of a landfill in Nanjing, the DS15SE single machine processed 120,000 tons of stale garbage per year, produced 72,000 tons of humus soil and 21,000 tons of high-purity plastics, and the resource benefits reached 28.4 million yuan.

With the advancement of the construction of "zero-waste cities", the DS15SE mobile screening equipment has become the preferred equipment for scenarios such as landfill ecological restoration, emergency disaster garbage treatment, and resource pretreatment due to its flexible, efficient and low-carbon characteristics.
