Discover mobile soil remediation equipment for efficient contaminated soil treatment. Desen's trailer-mounted washing systems deploy within 24 hours, ideal for emergency response and remote sites. Inquire about solutions today.

Contaminated soil poses significant environmental and regulatory challenges across industrial sites, oil fields, and construction zones. Traditional fixed remediation plants often involve lengthy setup times and high infrastructure costs, making them impractical for dispersed or time-sensitive projects. This is where mobile soil remediation equipment becomes a practical solution.

Understanding Mobile Soil Remediation Technology

Mobile soil remediation equipment integrates the complete soil washing process—feeding, screening, scrubbing, solid-liquid separation, and water treatment—onto standardized trailer-mounted platforms. This design eliminates the need for concrete foundations and complex on-site assembly, enabling operators to transport, deploy, and begin treatment within days rather than months.

The DS-MSW series, developed by Zhengzhou Desen Environmental Technology, represents a purpose-built mobile soil washing plant. Each unit achieves 10–15 tonnes per hour processing capacity with a total installed power of approximately 300 kW. The system occupies around 1,200 square meters when deployed and requires only 2–3 operators per shift.

Key Advantages of Mobile Washing Systems

  • Rapid deployment: Equipment arrives on-site and begins operation within 24–72 hours, reducing project startup time significantly.
  • Trailer-mounted mobility: Standard trailer towing allows easy transfer between project locations, supporting multi-site campaigns.
  • Integrated process design: Feeding, scrubbing, classification, dewatering, and water recycling are combined in a single coordinated system.
  • Water efficiency: The closed-loop water treatment module recycles over 90% of process water, minimizing freshwater intake and wastewater discharge.
  • PLC intelligent control: A distributed control system with cloud connectivity provides real-time monitoring and remote operational oversight.

Applications Across Contamination Types

Mobile soil remediation equipment handles a range of contaminants, including heavy metals (lead, cadmium, chromium), petroleum hydrocarbons, and organic pollutants. It is particularly effective for urban brownfield redevelopment, oil field soil restoration, mining area remediation, and emergency spill response where quick mobilization is essential.

In a recent Abu Dhabi oil-contaminated soil project, a DS-MSW-100 mobile unit processed approximately 100,000 tonnes of crude oil-impacted soil, recovering roughly 5,000 tonnes of oil while achieving treated soil hydrocarbon levels below 2,000 mg/kg—compliant with UAE environmental standards.

Operational Requirements

Site preparation involves a leveled concrete pad (C25 grade, 200 mm thickness) and standard industrial three-phase 380V power supply. Municipal water access and a temporary storage pool of approximately 100 cubic meters support continuous operation. The equipment is transported via standard 17.5-meter flatbed trailers.

For projects requiring higher throughput or specialized treatment, Desen also offers modular soil washing plants with capacities ranging from 15 to 100 TPH.
