Project Overview

In one of the largest oil-contaminated soil remediation projects undertaken by a Chinese equipment manufacturer in the Middle East, Zhengzhou Desen Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. deployed its modular skid-mounted soil washing plant to treat approximately 300,000 cubic meters of crude oil-contaminated sandy soil, with total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) concentrations averaging 5%–8%.

Technology & Process

Desen's soil washing technology uses a multi-stage wet separation process to isolate the contaminated fine fraction from clean coarse aggregates. The system comprises:

  • High-efficiency scrubbing drum — removes oil coatings from sand and gravel surfaces through mechanical attrition
