The arsenic remediation site was located in a dense urban area with tight construction constraints and strict environmental requirements. Desen Environmental’s modular soil washing system—known for flexible layout, intelligent operation, and environmental protection—proved ideal for this complex setting.

Fast Deployment and Intelligent Control
All system modules were delivered using standard freight plants, eliminating the need for large lifting machinery. The complete system was assembled and commissioned within two days, enabling rapid deployment and immediate operation.
Equipped with a DCS distributed control system and more than 20 real-time monitoring sensors, the equipment tracks key parameters such as soil moisture, arsenic removal rate, and washing agent concentration. Remote parameter adjustment via terminal devices enables full-process automation and stable long-term operation.
Clean Operation with Minimal Environmental Impact
The system adopts a fully enclosed design for feeding, screening, washing, and discharge. Integrated exhaust purification and wastewater recycling ensure:
Zero dust generation
Zero wastewater discharge
VOC emissions far below national standards
Over 95% wastewater reuse
This minimizes disturbance to nearby communities and the urban ecosystem.
Ecological and Economic Gains
While delivering excellent remediation results, the modular system also improved economic efficiency. The small volume of arsenic-containing residue was safely stabilized, preventing secondary pollution. Optimized washing agent recycling and energy-saving system design further reduced operational costs.
Compared with traditional remediation methods, the project shortened the remediation period by 40% and enabled high-value soil reuse. The restored soil retains its physical structure and can be directly used for landscaping or park development—transforming polluted land into new ecological resources.
A Scalable Model for Future Urban Remediation
The success of this project demonstrates Desen Environmental’s strong technical expertise in heavy metal soil remediation and provides a replicable model for cities facing industrial legacy pollution. Desen will continue advancing its soil washing technologies, improving equipment adaptability, and helping more cities restore contaminated land and revive ecological value.
