Comprehensive treatment project for a legacy site of a smelting enterprise in Hunan: The total area of the site is about 20hm2, and the previous survey determined that the polluted area is about 21300m2, and the main pollutants are heavy metals such as lead, zinc, and cadmium. In-situ restoration of contaminated sites is carried out using the joint restoration technology of "solidification-stabilization + safety isolation + ecological closure". Among them, the "solidification-stabilization" technology uses Desen Washing Plant to carry out leaching and grading treatment of contaminated soil, and adds curing agents and stabilizers for curing and stabilization treatment. The "safe isolation" technology uses materials such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) membranes and geotextiles to isolate and cover the solidified and stabilized soil.
