Some old landfill facilities are saturated and the landfill cycle has ended. The transformation cost is high and the difficulty is high. It is a top priority to carry out ecological remediation of old landfills to transform them into usable land resources, and at the same time to make resource utilization of mineralized waste in landfills, and to reasonably choose in-situ or ex-situ governance.
After the landfill is closed for several years, the degradable substances are basically completely degraded, the amount of leachate and gas produced is very little or no, and the organic matter content drops to less than 10%. The garbage formed is called mineralized garbage.
For mineralized garbage, it can be finely divided into two categories according to recycling technology: one is materials that can be directly recycled, which will be treated ex-situ and recycled; the other is materials waiting for further transformation and utilization after technological transformation.
